AI evaluation services for LLMs, RAG, and agents
Most AI systems pass the demo and fail the workflow. I design and run the evaluation that shows whether your LLM, RAG system, or agent produces the right business outcome repeatedly — and install the harness so your team can prove it after I leave.

What we test
- Business outcome correctness: did the right decision, update, route, or answer actually happen?
- Repeatability: k ≥ 3 runs with varied phrasing, context, retrieval, and tool conditions.
- Route and tool consistency: does every successful path preserve the control and the outcome?
- RAG quality: retrieval recall, groundedness, citation coverage, refusal, and stale-document handling.
- Agent safety: failed tools, partial writes, permissions, rollback, and human escalation.
- Cost and latency: cost per successful outcome, p50/p95 latency, and retry behavior.
- Regression: every incident becomes a permanent test case in CI/CD.
What you get
- A scenario set built from real workflows, support tickets, and edge cases.
- A runnable harness with traces, assertions, and a report a non-engineer can read.
- A findings register with severity, evidence, and owner.
- CI/CD integration that blocks releases when critical scenarios regress.
- A 60-minute readout and a 30-day remediation plan.
How the evaluation runs
- Define: identify the business outcomes, the scenario set, the failure modes, and the acceptance thresholds.
- Run: execute k ≥ 3 attempts per critical scenario, capture traces/tool calls, and score outcome correctness, consistency, cost, and latency.
- Install: turn the failures into regression tests, wire the harness into CI/CD, and hand over the runbook.
Metrics that matter
| Metric | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Outcome pass rate | Did the business result happen correctly? |
| Consistency across k runs | Does the same scenario produce a stable result? |
| Tool-call success / rollback | Can the system recover from a failed action? |
| Groundedness / citation coverage | Is every material claim supported by evidence? |
| Cost per successful outcome | Is the system economically viable at volume? |
| p50 / p95 latency | Does it fit the workflow's time budget? |
What your team provides
Access to traces, a representative set of real queries, the business rules that define a correct outcome, and one engineer who can explain the system. I bring the scenario design, the run matrix, the scoring rubric, and the harness.
One-time evaluation is useful before a launch. Continuous evaluation is necessary when prompts, models, retrieval indexes, tools, or vendors change. The handover includes a CI/CD gate and a runbook so the second version is easier than the first.
Start with the Diagnostic
The one-week Readiness Diagnostic gives you a scored read, the top five failure modes, and a 30-day plan. If the gaps are material, the two-week Full Production Assurance installs the harness and the control evidence.

Questions buyers ask
What is an AI evaluation service?
A structured service that defines the scenarios that matter, runs them repeatedly, records traces and outcomes, and turns the results into a regression harness and findings register. It evaluates the system's business outcome, not only the model's fluency.
Do you evaluate RAG systems and agents?
Yes. RAG work covers retrieval quality, groundedness, refusal, freshness, permissions, cost, and latency. Agent work covers route consistency, tool calls, state changes, failed tools, escalation, and repeatability at k ≥ 3.
Do you use an existing evaluation tool?
I am tool-agnostic. I can work with your observability/eval stack or implement a client-owned harness. The goal is evidence your team can run after the engagement, not a dependency on my dashboard.
How fast can you run an evaluation?
A focused Readiness Diagnostic runs in one week once access and a scenario set are available. A full harness and assurance sprint runs in two weeks. Availability is limited to two fixed-scope engagements per quarter.
Do you work with US and Canadian teams?
Yes. Remote-first with ET/PT overlap. Cal.com displays your local time. Invoices are USD; USD and CAD settlement are available through Wise; Deel supports the contract where required.
